About Me

I have lived in WNC most of my life and reside in Haywood County. Growing up I always enjoyed the outdoors and wildlife of the area and spent as much time as possible hunting and fishing. I was greatly influenced by my "Uncle Tony" who was a very avid woodcarver and focused primarily on the birds of North Carolina. I picked up the basics in woodcarving and whittling from him as a kid, but never really followed up on my talents after my teenage years.

After spending several years in retail management with a local grocery chain and sustaining an injury that required surgical repair, I found myself with a lot of time and decided to revisit my childhood talents of pencil sketching and woodcarving. I've discovered how addicting my refreshed talents can be and have accumulated quite a stockpile of finished pieces and have decided to show and hopefully find new homes for my work.
